Pemerintah Kota Bandung menduduki peringkat ketiga dalam indeks kota Cerdas Indonesia, padahal baru saja berlangsung delapan bulan sejak diterapkannya kota cerdas. Program Kota Cerdas di Indonesia sendiri mengusung beberapa indikator didalamnya meliputi: Smart People, Smart Economy, Smart Environment, Smart Government, Smart Living, dan Smart Mobility.
